Appointed
by the Board of Trustees in 2004 as interim assistant
secretary of the Board and as assistant secretary in 2005, Donna Brady functions as
secretary of the University. She manages Board records
and information flow on behalf of the Chancellor, coordinates Board meetings and retreats, and is the liaison between the University and the UNC Charlotte Board of Trustees, the UNC Board of Governors,
and the Office of the President.
As Senior Assistant to Chancellor Philip Dubois, she serves as budget officer, coordinates Chancellor's Council and Chancellor's Cabinet meetings and retreats,
manages the administration website and other projects as delegated by the Chancellor. She also administers searches for UNC Charlotte's senior officers.
A member
of Phi Kappa Phi and the Golden Key Honor Society,
she holds a B.A. in English
with a minor in Technical Communications from
UNC Charlotte.
